Attendance Policy:

STX Basketball recognizes the importance of regular attendance for the development of individual players and the overall success of the team. Consistent attendance not only contributes to skill development but also fosters team cohesion and a sense of responsibility among players.

Players are expected to attend all scheduled practices, games, and tournaments unless prevented by illness, injury, or other valid reasons. In the event of an absence, players are required to notify their coach as soon as possible, preferably before the scheduled activity. Failure to provide timely notice may result in disciplinary action, including but not limited to, reduced playing time or removal from the program.

Players who miss more than two days of scheduled activities in a 30-day period without a valid medical excuse may be subject to removal from the program. Coaches will work with players and their families to address any attendance issues and may provide additional support or resources as needed.

STX Basketball recognizes that occasional absences may be unavoidable due to family emergencies, academic commitments, or other extenuating circumstances.

Coaches will consider such circumstances on a case-by-case basis and may make exceptions to the attendance policy when deemed appropriate.

It is the responsibility of players and their families to communicate any attendance issues or concerns in SportsYou App in a timely and respectful manner.
